Causes Of Molluscum Contagiosum
Molluscum contagiosum is a skin infection caused by a virus. It is a common infection in children occuring when a child comes into direct contact with a lesion. The causes of molluscum contagiosum are contaminated objects like clothing, toys or towels etc.
The incubation period varies from weeks to several months. Scratching causes molluscum infection to spread which is why hand-washing is suggested in order to avoid the spreading of existing lesions.
Natural molluscum contagiosum treatments can help to remove the soft center after which the bump usually goes away.
